MACKINAC ISLAND / FRANKENMUTH / SOO LOCKS / AGAWA CANYON (DSS0801) – The basic three-day Mackinac Island package features rooms, ferry ride to the Island, horse-drawn carriage tour of the Island, first-class luncheon at the Grand Hotel, time on the island, a visit to Frankenmuth and several meals. We can also add a stop at the Mackinaw Crossings to shop, include a casino or a stop at Cross in the Woods. The four and five-day packages include the island and can include a full day trip plus breakfast and lunch aboard the Agawa Canyon Train, Soo Locks Boat Cruise, guided tour of Frankenmuth, Bronner’s Christmas Store and a stop for winetasting. FRANKENMUTH TOUR (DFT0801) ~ Known as "Michigan's Little Bavaria", Frankenmuth delights over 3 million visitors annually. No one will want to miss seeing the Glockenspiel or shopping at Rau’s Country Store on Main Street. The one-day package includes roundtrip motorcoach transportation, a chicken plate luncheon (a Frankenmuth specialty) or Kasseler Rippchen (smoked Pork Loin), Bronner’s Christmas Store and time to shop in Frankenmuth. The overnight tour includes everything in the one-day tour plus one night of rooms, a guided tour with a stop at St. Lorenz Church (when available), winetasting, one dinner plus an additional lunch. GREENFIELD VILLAGE/HENRY FORD MUSEUM (DGV0801) ~ This one-day package features a dinner and each passenger has a choice of either Greenfield Village or the Henry Ford Museum or both. (S-D Tour on August 2)

HOLLAND, MICHIGAN (DHM0829) - Holland continues to be a popular tour throughout the year, especially at tulip time. This two or three-day package features rooms, admission to Windmill Island, admissions to Veldheer Tulip Gardens and DeKlemp Wooden Shoe & Delft Factory. In addition to dinner and breakfast, this package also includes a lunch at a local dinner theatre and/or Queen Inn. At tulip time, package can also include a guided tour of Holland's "Tulip Trail" by bus. (S-D Tour available May 8 - 10)

SALUTE TO SENIORS - AN EVENT TARGETED JUST FOR SENIORS (DFM0806) ~ This two-day tour is only available with departures on September 3 or 4. Travel to Flint, Michigan and spend the day at Salute to Seniors beginning with a box lunch and including admissions to the Sloan Museum, Planetarium with a laser light show, Applewood Gardens, Flint Institute of Arts and the Flint Institute of Music. A featured show is performed in the entertainment tent by various entertainers. The afternoon brings the main event as people gather to enjoy the headliner show (2007 show was the Guy Lombardo Orchestra) followed by a delicious sit-down dinner. This package also includes roundtrip transportation, rooms and your choice of a second day in Flint (guided tour of the Victorian Robert Whaley Home, lunch and a guided tour of the innovative GM Truck and Assembly Plant) or a seven-course luncheon followed by a show or time for gaming in one of the several casinos in Detroit or Windsor.

PORT HURON PLEASURES (DSA0879) ~ Port Huron is located on the St. Clair River about an hour north of Detroit. This two-day package features rooms, a narrated cruise, tour of the "Bramble" Coast Guard Cutter (learn of her past history and her world travels of this recently decommissioned vessel), Thomas Edison Depot Museum (located in an authentic railcar with a recreation of Edison’s mobile printing shop and chemistry laboratory as part of the display), Huron Lightship Museum (enjoy a first hand look at how sailors lived and worked on board the lightship), Fort Gratiot Lighthouse (oldest surviving lighthouse in Michigan), St. Clair Historical Museum and the Carnegie Center of the Arts. Several meals are included at restaurants with some local flair. This package can be modified or extended to include the casino or other attractions in nearby Sarnia, Ontario.

GENERAL MOTORS PLANT TOUR (DFM0808) – Tour the state-of-the-art guided factory assembly plant tour and watch today’s workhorse, the GM Silverado being built before your eyes. This two-day package also includes the Buick Gallery (classic and concept Buicks, Chevrolets and locally built automobiles), Sloan Museum, Whaley Historical House, three meals (dinner with entertainment, breakfast and lunch) and a stop at the Flint Farmer’s Market (summer tours only). It is best to depart on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday so we can go to the market on the second day of the tour.
