FAME, AIR MUSEUM
(with Special Pricing for Veterans)
Saturday, June
21, 2008
One-Day Tour
with One Meal
$94.00 per
person
$89.00 Veterans
$88.00 Students
This tour starts at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a sure-fire hit for
passengers of any age. The goals set for this museum, to “honor individuals for
outstanding contributions”, “preserving documents and artifacts” and “educating
the public”, have been achieved.
Our luncheon will be a most unique dining experience since we are dining at the
area’s only authentic World War II restaurant, located right at the airport (see
picture to right).
Our next visit will be to the hangars that house the MAPS Air Museum, an
organization dedicated to educating people about the history of aviation and its
impact upon society. To do this, they acquire, restore, preserve and exhibit
these beautiful aircraft. Come with us as we discover some of the finest
military aircraft ever flown. We’ll also be making a brief stop at a local candy
company for some tasting, and shopping, before traveling homeward.
