KENTUCKY’S ROLLING PASTURES
AND MILES OF WHITE WOODEN FENCES

Tuesday - Friday, June 24 - 27, 2008

Four-Day Tour with Eight Meals

$564.00 per person
$122.00 single supplement

For a number of years we’ve been offering this tour as a five-day package that included various other destinations in Tennessee and Georgia. From the suggestions we’ve received, we’ve revised this package to expand our visit to Kentucky and its horse country. It allows more emphasis on this area, less travel time and a reduced price for 2008. Kentucky’s horse country is located in the heart of Kentucky’s Bluegrass region. Set on more than 1,200 acres of Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, the Kentucky Horse Park is an equine-themed park dedicated to man’s relationship with the horse. During this tour we’ll be enjoying a horse-drawn wagon tour and seeing one or more of the half-hour shows. We’ll also be touring the Kentucky Derby Museum and, this year, we’ll be including time to see their special audio-visual experience. In keeping with the tradition of the area, a Mint Julep will be “waiting for your arrival”.

We’ll be touring the Bardstown and Kentucky Bourbon area, enjoying a fabulous meal aboard the elegant dining cars of a dinner-train as we travel through ever-changing scenery. We’ll also be visiting other attractions including the famous “Old Kentucky Home”, local attractions and enjoying an evening performance with Southern hospitality and colorful costumes featuring many songs of this area including the works of Stephen Foster, who began composing when he was just 16 years of age. We even plan on visiting Kentucky’s Bourbon Country and visit the Coca-Cola Museum. We’ll see a lot of interesting sites during this expanded Kentucky Tour.

It’s been stated that “Nothing in the world has the majesty and beauty of the horse” and you’ll be traveling through horse country where the horse is revered . . but there is so much more that we’ll be enjoying during this comprehensive four-day tour. If you feel this way, you’re sure to enjoy this newly-revised tour.
