WASHINGTON’S WW
II MEMORIAL Friday - Sunday, July 11 - 13, 2008 Three-Day Tour with Five Meals $484.00 per
person The National World War II Memorial was dedicated three years ago as the
first national memorial dedicated to all who served during World War II.
Established by the American Battle Monuments Commission, the memorial honors all
military veterans of the war, its citizens on the home front, the nation at
large and the high moral purpose and idealism that motivated the nation’s call
to arms. Again this year we’ve upgraded this tour to include rooms at the
Marriott’s SpringHill Suites with a full breakfast each morning. We’ll be
visiting Arlington Cemetery, where we will see the changing of the guard at the
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and stop at the Kennedy grave site. We’ll also see
the Pavilion at the Old Post Office. Of course we’ll be visiting museums and
taking a driving tour of Capitol Hill, Embassy Row and the National Mall. Departure Points
