ENTERTAINMENT
SPECTACULAR IN LANCASTER COUNTY
Tuesday -
Thursday June 8 - 10, 2010
$464 per person
($92 single supplement)
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is known for a lot of things including its
Amish communities, industrious people, plant tours and great dining, but has
developed over the years into a true entertainment mecca. This tour includes two
of the top shows and many of the other great destinations. We’ll be arriving in
the Lancaster-York area and then enjoying a fabulous dinner-show with the
musical “Big River”. The Broadway production of this ran for over 1,000
performances.
The next day we’ll have reserved seating at one of the most popular places in
Lancaster County (and all of Pennsylvania), the Sight & Sound Theatre in
Strasburg. They remain one of the “three most-visited theaters on the East
Coast”. This year’s Christian-based program is “Joseph”, an epic, timeless story
that continues the unique and visionary production qualities audiences have come
to expect.
We’ve continued the great meals that our Lancaster tours are known for,
including the Good ’N Plenty in Smoketown, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre and the
dining room at the Hershey Lodge. Five meals are included.
A number of tours are also included in this package, starting with seeing the
assembly of Harley Davidson motorcycles and other plants, shops and outlets.
Past tours have seen potato chips being produced, chocolate-making and other
manufacturing facilities.
