“DINNER AT THE
MANSION”
Our holiday tradition, Hummel Shoppe
Saturday,
December 5, 2009
$88 per person
$84 (18 & Under)
“Gone with the Wind” is known by generations, as is true “Southern
Hospitality”. This is never so evident as during the Christmas Holidays, with
the mansion grounds decorated in tiny white lights, dazzling Christmas trees,
wreaths, garlands with red velvet bows and antique China dolls decorating the
banisters and adorning the mantelpieces on this elegant Greek Revival-style Inn
of Tara, a Country Inn, in Western Pennsylvania. It’s breathtaking . . . and one
of our “warmer” Holiday traditions.
We’ll be visiting one of the largest Hummel shops in the country which typically
offers works by M.I. Hummel, Lladro, Armani, Fenton, Precious Moments, Royal
Doulton, Lenox, Crystal Impressions, Cherished Teddies . . . and many more. We
will also be visiting the impressive Kraynak’s where you’ll be walking through
their indoor Christmas tree & Santa display. We will be making a number of other
stops, too, including the Philadelphia Chocolate Company (specializing in
hand-dipped chocolates). But it will be the charming Southern Belles in their
elegant gowns who make you feel warm and wonderful as we view the rooms of this
impressive Inn and dine on a bountiful family-style meal, just as we are getting
into the “holiday spirit”. Find out why this is an “annual favorite” . . . and
includes so many holiday stops to enjoy the hospitality of the season! It’s a
holiday tradition!
Morning departures from Westlake, Elyria, No.Olmsted,
Middleburg Hts, Independence, Highland Hts, Bedford Hts. Stops will be
made only at locations with passenger sign-ups.
